ABOUT THE ORIGIN

honduras apach

APACH stands for Association of Agroforestry Producers of the Choloma River Basin, and is a cooperative consisting of 110 small-scale producers. The plantations are located in the mountainous region of El Merendon, in the northern coast of Honduras. APACH focuses on promoting sustainable farming practices, supporting the economic well-being of its members, and fostering collaboration among producers.

Members receive training and support to boost both quality and productivity. Through small-scale production within organic and agroforestry systems, they are able to protect soil and water resources, promote biodiversity, and contribute to reforestation efforts on their lands.
